OpenBridge

OpenBridge is a separate, optional app that reads the data OpenVitals chooses to share and can pass it on to online services. It is the only app in the family with internet access, so OpenVitals itself never needs it. It is early stage: no service is connected yet.

Documentation is being written. These pages are placeholders. Until they are filled in, the OpenBridge page  describes the app and the repository README  explains how it reads data.

Planned pages

  • Install
  • Share data from OpenVitals: turning sharing on, the eleven groups and Android’s permission for each.
  • Reading data: what each group returns and how far back.
  • Connected services: one page per service, once there are any.
  • Privacy: what leaves the phone, and only when you ask.
