OpenWatch pairs Garmin and Wear OS watches and a Xiaomi S400 scale over Bluetooth, copies what they record into Health Connect, and manages them. The phone app declares no internet permission: everything travels over Bluetooth between the device and the phone.

Documentation is being written. These pages are placeholders. Until they are filled in, the OpenWatch page  describes the app and the repository README  covers what it does in detail.

Planned pages

  • Install: the phone app from Google Play, and the Wear OS watch app.
  • Garmin watches: pairing, what syncs, notifications, settings and find my watch.
  • Wear OS watches: the watch app, sync on a tap or a schedule, sleep and resting heart rate, tiles.
  • Xiaomi S400 scale: the account key, weigh-ins with the app closed, the estimated body composition.
  • Privacy: no internet permission, what goes into Health Connect and what stays in OpenWatch.
